Meeting Structure

 

We plan to hold three sustained negotiations throughout the academic year. In each, “Bridgers” choose to serve on one of the three standing beams, or the Issue Beam when necessary.  As there are three beams and three negotiations, we encourage each member to finish the year with experience on all three beams.

 

Note: We welcome non-participant spectators who wish to “hang out on the bridge.”

Outcome Document:

If agreement is reached, the Democrat and Republican Beams each write a brief “Letter to Our Constituents” that “sells” the student-generated, actionable “Bridge Endorsement” to their respective constituencies.
